In November 2008 two Supreme Court lawyers in Burma, U Aung Thein and U Khin Maung Shein, were convicted to four months' imprisonment for contempt of court because they submitted a letter to the judge on behalf of their clients, that the clients "no longer had faith in the judicial process".
